Traveling with your Pet or Service Animal: Pet-friendly airline will accept domesticated cats, dogs, rabbits, fish and birds in the Cabin of aircraft, and as checked baggage for a fee of ($100 one way). Pets are accepted as checked baggage for a fee of ($100 one way) requirements and restrictions apply. Alaska Airlines no longer accepts Brachycephalic or "short-nosed" animals in the cargo compartment. Only cats and dogs can be transported to Hawaii. Fees and pet policies may be subject to change at any time.

Service animals are accepted in the cabin when accompanying qualified individuals with disabilities. There is no additional charge to travel with a service animal, in the Cabin or Cargo area of the aircraft.
Emotional support animals may accompany a passenger with a disability on a flight but requires documentation. The only service animal permitted into Hawaii is a service dog with appropriate health documentation.

Carry-On Baggage: Passengers are allowed one carry-on in addition to one personal item (purse, briefcase, laptop, etc.) Alaska Airlines limits carry-on bag dimensions to (10" H x 17" W x 24" L or (25 x 43 x 61 cm).

Checked Baggage Fees for a Single Ticket Per Bag One Way: Checked baggage allowance and fees may vary depending on airline status level, military status, itinerary and date of purchase. Each checked bag must weigh (50 pounds or less) and have a maximum dimension of 62 linear inches (length + height + width) Standard Fees 1st bag $25, 2nd bag $25, 3rd bag $75, 4th + $75 per bag. Itinerary and ticket wholly within the State of Alaska up to 3 free bags and 4th + $75 per bag.

Oversize baggage: 51-100 lbs. $75 (USD), and Overweight baggage: 63-115 in. $75 (USD). If a checked bag falls into more than one fee category (piece number, oversize, overweight), only the higher, single fee is charged. When traveling with infants and children, their strollers and car seats may be checked without charge. Wheelchairs, assistive devices, and bags containing only medical equipment for personal use may be checked without charge. When departing Honolulu (HNL), Kona (KOA), Maui (OGG), and Lihue (LIH)) airports you are allowed to check one properly packaged box of pineapples without charge on domestic itineraries.

Active Duty U.S. military personnel with ID are allowed Up to five Bags Free and $75 for each additional bag. U.S. military (dependents) with ID and travel orders are allowed Up to five Bags Free and $75 for each additional bag. Baggage Fees and policies may be subject to change at any time.
